A builder’s yard with just a gateway onto the King’s Road was the starting point for this new classical house, which was designed to have a central courtyard with four storeys including basement built on the west side and single storeys on the north and east sides.
The pencil sketches show the initial concept which was ultimately developed into working drawings right up to full size details.
